Calcium formate is a white crystalline powder.

It also known as Calcium diformate, C2H204Ca, used as a feed additive, suitable for all kinds of animals, has the effects of acidification, mildew, anti-bacteria, etc., also used in the industry for concrete, mortar additives, leather tanning or as a preservative use.

Calcium formate as feed additive can promote appetite and reduce diarrhea rate of piglets.Adding 1% ~ 1.5% calcium formate in the diet of piglets can significantly improve the performance of weaned piglets.

It is important to note that calcium formate use is effective before and after weaning because the piglets' own secretion of
hydrochloric acid increases with age.
In construction
Calcium formate is used as quick coagulant, lubricant and early strength agent for cement.Used in building mortar and all kinds of concrete, accelerate the hardening speed of cement, shorten the setting time, especially in winter construction, avoid setting
